Precision System Science USA, Inc. is responsible for Western Hemisphere
distribution of automated DNA/RNA/Micro Array analysis systems (from purification
through detection), developed by our parent company, Precision System Science,
Co, Ltd.
Precision System Science USA, Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Precision
System Science Co. (PSS). PSS is located in Matsudo, Japan. In 1995, PSS
patented a novel technique to operate magnetic particles automatically
that is known as MAGTRATION® Technology. By using this technology,
PSS developed and launched a series of nucleic acid purification instruments.
PSS has non-exclusive OEM partnerships with Roche, Qiagen, Invitrogen,
Beckman, Mitsubishi, Magnetic Bio Solutions and Toyobo, and is traded on
the Hercules Japan (code 7707). In 2001, PSS established a European company
(Precision System Science Europe GmbH) in Mainz, Germany and a R&D
oriented company (Bio-Strand Inc.) in Denver CO along with the establishment
of PSS Bio Instruments, Inc. In 2004, after completing a R&D phase
for a new 3D microarray technology known as Bio-Strand, PSS Bio Instruments,
Inc. and Bio-Strand Inc. were merged.
PSS products are available through direct sales, distributors as well as
OEM partnerships.
