12N, for Nucleic Acid Automated Purification
PSS and Monogram Biosciences, Inc., have been collaborating to develop an automated nucleic acid purification
system incorporating PSS' Magtration® technology into Monogram Biosciences HIV PhenoSense® and
GeneSeq® drug resistance process technology. The PSS Magtration® 12N provides custom high
throughput automation for Monogram Biosciences clinical reference laboratory. Following the delivery of
the first two units of 12N to Monogram Biosciences last fall, the 3rd and 4th 12N have been delivered in June, 2004.
ViroLogic's HIV PhenoSense® and GeneSeq® technology incorporated PSS' Magtration® technology
and is fully satisfied with quality and throughput.
