Appendix (p. 11) Ordering information Technical support numbers Composition of reagents [Introduction] The Magtration-GST TM Protein Purification Kit includes the protocols and reagents to purify GST-fusion proteins from bacterial cell lysates and to perform GST-pulldown experiments in the Magtration® 12GC robot. The purifications and pulldowns are performed by binding GST-fusion proteins to user-supplied glutathione-magnetic beads. The beads are then washed and separated in the pipette tip using patented magnetic-filtration (Magtration®) technology. All of the GST-protein purification protocols and GST-pulldown protocols are performed automatically with up to 12 samples processed in parallel. This design facilitates the rapid screening of samples for protein expression with the purification protocols and for analysis of multiple protein-protein interactions with the pulldown protocols. This kit features open reagent cartridges and bottled reagents that provide a low-cost alternative to pre-filled cartridges. Each kit includes color-coded cartridge templates to make filling easy and error-free.  |
